| | Orc totem

| This one is from Forgeworld. I liked it very much and wanted to build my own, since it would not have been very hard to do so. But I never found the time, there was always something more important to cast, or build, or paint. So I just bought it one day.
It is painted in typical stone color with a dark grey drybushed twice with lighter greys. The ground is Scorched Brown drybrushed with Snakebite Leather and Bleached Bone.
Now my Orc warband has something to worship in the city!

| I want to start by saying that the idea for this building was not from me, but from the Terrainosaur website. (Link to the original) Nevertheless it is a fantastic idea, which has to be copied immediatly. While gaming there is always the problem where to roll your dice, since the board itself is only pooly suited for dice rolling (too much flagstone floor...) And since there are so many things standing around, it would be better to have a dice-dedicated structure.
The building itself is treated as unpassable terrain, dice are thrown into the tower and roll out on the balcony part of the building. The first variant had straight walls on the inside of the balcony, but those hindered the dice to be taked out easily. So I used sloped bricks from the pyramid molds. I feared the dice would roll over the slope and fly across the gaming board, but testing showed that it works quite well, now.
