I must rely on the reports of my parents here, too, because my memory ability was not so completely installed yet. The earliest memory of my life falls into this period, it is a nightmare, which I had (isn't it strange?) I flee along a corridor and a ghost with giant eyes pursues me. It is often strange, which memories from a certain period stay. I can remember my teacher Mrs. König lively, that I had to learn all rivers of Styria by heart, practicing the multiplication tables for hours with the Rechenmaxe (a tool used to learn multiplications), my very strict religion teacher Mrs. Hoffmann, that I gossipped at a religious sermon and was punished by said religions teacher, at playing cards in the yard and finally the parting from the elementary school time. | Second visit to America: 1977 Rockwell, Maryland (near Washington D.C.)
During this time I completed the 2. Class elementary school in the American education system. I can remember a very loose kind of education (at least in this school stage), certifications on computer paper (with the holes on the side) and thus that a Austrian pupil sketched one weeks instruction from boredom for its schoolmates.
It was a beautiful time, I was in the Woodley Gardens Swim team, where I learned to swim quite well and also achieved some prices, I encountered McDonalds and Burger King we made an unforgettable round trip to the west in autumn. |  |  | Third visit to America: 1979 Columbus, Ohio
During summer holidays between elementary and middle school we were in Columbus, Ohio again. I closed friendship with John, the neighbour boy and we became the terror of the neighbourhood quite fast... We also visited "Kings Dominion", my first American entertainment park, where I courageously bit toghether the teeth and braved "The Beast", at that time ultimative rollercoaster ride. | Fourth visit to America: 1982 Washington D.C.
After the death of my father I was allowed to visit a computer camp in Virgina, where I learned Pascal and basic and came to other thoughts. I learned also that 1 cm on the canvas-large USA map still meand 9 hours in the Greyhound bus and that one, if one drives alone to Washington D. C., should notice well the name of the bus station, at which one has to get off on the ride back. The time in the Bischoeflichen High School was sort of divided, on the one hand liked I the school and the professors very much, on the other hand one I could not fare with the increased amount of ordered religiosity. I was quite interested in the church at that time, but being ordered to deleted this attitute very quickly and I found my own spiritual path in these times. I am even grateful to the seminar for it somehow.

This project would have almost failed, because after initial successes I did some full-time computer-playing for almost two years and neglected studies. But I succeeded to nevertheless, but I had to study very hard while already working for Vexcel. SUUN is an amateur videofilm, which was made 1993 by a group of young Filmers in their spare time. Since they all belonged to the Styrian astronomer association (StAV), contents accordingly had an astronomical impact.
SUUN was more than only a large project, with the work on the film I got a grip on myself again and bested the universitarian crisis. I began my diploma thesis and could actually finish my studies positively. | 1995: Visualisation of the Splendid Hall of the Austrian National Library
In the summer 1995 I could follow my special passion also vocationally. For the Institute of Computer Graphics I made a digital model of the Splendid Hall of the national library and I was the head modeller. The most difficult thereby was the reproduction true of the dome with a fresco, which was mapped in a very complicated way from 8 single photographs into the digital model. The orphan's annuity was at a sudden end and little Stephan had to take a job quasi over night. I found admission at the company of my university professor Dr. Leberl, where I accomplished programming work for an A3 flat bed high resolution scanner. What does one tell of military service? (Here in Austria, military service is mandatory for every male) In the meantime, the stress faded away and only more the beautiful memories remain. It was nevertheless a hard time, in which I was suddenly confronted with the more brutal side of the life. But I endured it, after eternally many load services, after battle practices, particularly hard for me, after night and nebula operations, guard service, on-call service and finery service without end, could disarm I in May 1997. |  |  | 2000-2003 employed with the Infonova as software developer
I finally started with InfoDesign, where I learned the art of internet programming and the first years I liked being there a lot. Unfortunately the company went downhill when the consulters took the helm and it was sold abroad.
